AS COMPUTING DATA AND AI ARE RESHAPING THE WORLD
RASTEK Technologies stepped into the field of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing and Deep Learning by successfully organizing a one-day Seminar at Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) on 24th December 2018 respectively by Dr. Fawad Ahmed (Associate Professor HITEC University). Dr. Fawad Ahmed has more than 24 years of experience which spans industry, research, teaching, training and consulting. His professional expertise includes electronics, image security, computer vision and deep learning with a number of international publications and conference papers.
The seminar covered a basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning which then leas the session toward Deep Learning and its applications in the real world. Theoretical and practical concepts that include mathematics and statistics were also discussed in detail. This was followed by a live demo of the STATE- OF -THE – ART Deep learning model like YOLO. In addition, a deep neural network coding session using tensor flow and Keras was also included. The session remained interactive throughout and all the queries were responded to by Dr. Fawad Ahmed.
The entire team of RASTEK Technologies is thankful to the Computer Science Department of Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology for hosting a successful event and is looking forward to opportunities that will enable the students to understand and implement AI solutions in real life applications.
