The Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry enjoys singular distinction of being the premier Chamber of Pakistan, representing the mainstream of economic activities by virtue of its location in the industrial and commercial hub of the country. It was established in 1959 through the amalgamation of four trade bodies in Karachi at that time, namely, the Pakistan Merchants Association, Buyers and Shipper Chamber of Commerce Pakistan and All Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry. KCCI and its building’s history date back to 8th July 1934 when Mahatma Gandhi laid the foundation stone of Karachi Indian Merchants Association.

Pakistan Engineering Council


Its main statutory functions include registration of engineers, consulting engineers, constructors/operators and accreditation of engineering programmes offered by universities/institutions, ensuring and managing of continuing professional development, assisting the Federal Government as Think Tank, establishing standards for engineering products and services besides safeguarding the interest of its members. The council shall encourage, facilitate and regulate working of professional engineering bodies for creativity and as custodians of engineering under the umbrella of the Council.

Pakistan Software Export Board


In line with this realization, Private Software Export Board (PSEB) was established by means of an executive order vide Cabinet Division's notification dated 12th June 1995. The said notification outlined the composition and functions of the Board. The Board of Directors comprises of seven members, all nominees of the Federal Government. Two nominee are traditionally from the private sector. The primary and most significant task entrusted with the board was the formation of a national software policy to facilitate the rapid development of the Pakistan software industry.The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is a professional association with its corporate office in New York City and its operations center in Piscataway, New Jersey. It was formed in 1963 from the amalgamation of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers and the Institute of Radio Engineers. Today, it is the world's largest association of technical professionals with more than 420,000 members in over 160 countries around the world.

CBB Pakistan Chapter was established in May 2012 in Karachi during a small dignified meeting held at Karachi Gymkhana. The CBB PC has constituted a Voluntary Advisory Board of Advisers from the eminent educationist and elite personalities of high stature of society. CBB PC’s focus is on Education, Special Education Inclusive, Health, Volunteerism and Housing sector. These sectors are selected after careful consideration and assessing On Ground Realities. CBBs approach is to address the core issues of Pakistani society rather providing a piece meal solution. Clearly understanding the composite picture of the society issues and evolve multitier strategy to change the mind set of society to progress on the path of civic practices.
CBB acknowledge the individual contributions and efforts that are taking place in Pakistan. CBB don’t and wouldn’t want to undermine those efforts or don’t like replicate to waste resources or energy; rather CBB augment to steer their efforts by strengthen them stay focus on delivery, result oriented and transparently follow Canadian practices eliminating knowledge gap and technology lag.

Volunteers Pakistan Organization


Volunteers Pakistan is a non-Religious and non-Political Pakistan’s Multicultural entity. We stand united, to Respect Humanity and Harmonize Prosperity. VPO is a participatory organization who works to involve Pakistani resilient multicultural diverse communities into a vibrant centric Pakistan.

Volunteers Pakistan targets to promote Skills-based volunteering for leveraging the specialized skills and talents of individuals to strength the infrastructure of the society, helping them to build and sustain their capacity to successfully achieve the social health. This is in contrast to traditional voluntary activity, where specific training is not required.

The VPO’s mission is to provide leadership in strengthening citizen engagement in all spheres of life and to serve as a catalyst for voluntary action reviving the spirit of Volunteerism of Pakistan movement.
